Sony become one of console that consider to be the worst than their two competitor, because of their PS3 sale number is far from what they’re hoping for. There even someone that said the number”3” in PS3 mean or the same with third rank in console competition. One of the reason is because PS3 price is too expensive. In July 2007 PS3 sold 4.48 millions unit, Xbox360 sold 5.82 millions unit, and Nintendo Wii still in first rank with Wii sold 9.3 millions unit.
Because of that Sony decided to cut Playstation3 price as big as $100 but only for 60GB PS3 version, and at the same time they confirm that the new version of 80GB Playstation3 on sale in one package with motostorm with the price $600. Sony said that their decision to cut PS3 price is to finish 60GB PS3 stock in the market, and not to produce it again. Sony also confirm the new PSP, the fitur is just the same with the usual PSP only much more slim and more light weight.
